Every spring, my second grade "city slickers" used to head out to a farm about 40-miles away from our suburb of Toledo, Ohio to experience life in the country!  Together we would milk a cow, hold baby ducks, feed a baby goat from a bottle, and marvel at a pig the size of Wilbur from Charlotte's Web.   Before we went on our field trip, and again after we came back, we explored barnyard sights and sounds with activities from this fun literacy pack I created!
